Given the word hitched, I immediately thought of knots and wondered if octopuses ever tied their legs in knots. Googling "octopus knots", I didn't find any hits for that, but it turns out that Moray eels do tie themselves in knots, when they prey on octopuses. So this is a picture of a Moray eel and an octopus knotted around each other fighting.
